AI-generated images

We use AI-generated images for editorial illustrations and some visual quiz guides. These images help explain styles, choices and concepts. They are illustrative examples and do not document specific products, people or outcomes.

Face-shape photo estimates

The optional photo mode in the face shape detector resizes the image and removes metadata in your browser. Only after you consent and press Estimate do we send it to Google Gemini to observe visible proportions. In this mode we do not save the photo or result in our database or image storage. The preview and observations remain in tab memory until you remove them or leave the page. Remove cancels waiting and clears that local data; it cannot recall a request already received by the provider. Google may retain data for safety and abuse prevention under its terms. Cloudflare uses your IP address to limit requests; we do not create a facial identification template.

What we store

• Your uploaded photo, served from a private CDN, for up to 24 hours. After that it's deleted.
• The analysis result (season, palette, brief reasoning).
• Your email only if you voluntarily enter it for premium or delivery.
• A hashed version of your IP address for 72 hours, purely to prevent abuse of the free tier.

First-party journey measurement

We keep a public entry category and a referral category in browser session storage. When an analysis completes, we may save those categories and the approximate country supplied by Cloudflare in event data linked to that analysis to compare confirmed purchases. Administrative reports show totals, not your photos, answers or private identifiers.

This measurement does not store search queries, full referring URLs, private paths or a tracking identifier shared across sites. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for this attribution; when enabled, we omit the categories and country. Necessary operational and payment records remain separate.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your photo or your data.
• We don't train our own models on your photo.
• We don't share your email with third parties beyond the tools that deliver your report (Stripe for billing, an email provider for delivery).

Processors we use

• Anthropic Claude — vision analysis of your photo (no training on request data).
• Cloudflare Pages & Bunny CDN — hosting and short-lived image storage.
• Supabase — stores the analysis row.
• Stripe — only if you purchase the premium upgrade.

Requests & deletion

Email us at hello@whatcolorssuitme.com and we'll delete your analysis and any associated photo immediately.
